Potty Hero Picture1

Description:Potty training isn't easy. It takes a lot of patience. With this super fun and educative book, it goes a lot quicker, because we put the name and photograph of your toddler on every page. The little sweeties recognize themselves immediately and therefore use the potty earlier, or act really tough and use the grown-up toilet.

A great rhyming book about toilet training with beautiful pictures and recognizable animals. Your child will love it. Not just now, but also in the future, because every Bookadoo children's book becomes a fond memory of their beautiful childhood.

You can write a foreword to make the book even more personal. And we will throw-in 40 calling cards for your potty hero free of charge.

Review: This is such a cute book! I was rather surprised at how well they were able to merge the picture of my son into the images of the story. You can see from the cover what a good job they did.

The story is all about a little boy (can be made for a little girl too) whose mommy says he can't go out to play until he goes wee-wee. He is tempted to go outside by many animal friends instead of going potty. Each time an animal asks him to come play and to talks about a different game, the little boy responds with the same thing. He says he can't come out to play because he's taking a wee-wee and not to rush him. I am not writing the exact phrases used.

In the end, the little boy goes potty and is able to go outside to play. I really like how imaginative all the pages are. There are lots of toys and animals that kids can recognize and would want to play with instead of going potty. The story shows how there are lots of things that can tempt a little kid not go potty and how the kid actually ignores them until he goes. The only thing that I wish were different about this book is that it came in cardboard. I was going over it with Drake and he tried to turn the pages. He almost ripped one because he doesn't have the finesse yet to turning non-cardboard book pages. Now, Drake is only 19 months old. We are starting a little early, but I find it easier if we start things early so he can get used to stuff earlier before he is expected to do them. I honestly don't know if my method works at all, but it is what I have been trying to do with him. Therefore, we are going over the book now and in a few months we will start trying to potty train him. He has lots of examples to learn from. We have never closed the bathroom door on him in our own home so that he could actually see us go potty on the toilet. The result so far is that he actually knows that toilet paper goes in the toilet. I think it is a good start.
