I was recently contacted by MyBabyClothes.com to do a review on a piece of toddler clothing. This absolutely could not have happened at a more opportune time. I am helping a friend plan her wedding which is happening in July and I was just starting to think of what I might have Drake wear to the wedding. MyBabyClothes.com carries items such as Tutus, Baby Clothes, Baby Headbands, and Baby Hats. I was able to pick a really cute outfit for Drake to wear. Of course, if it is too hot since the wedding is outdoors, I can just take off the vest. Here is what I picked out:
Isn't the outfit cute? I got it in a size 2T which is exactly what Drake is wearing right now. I am taking a chance that it will hopefully still fit in July because he is just about ready for 3T clothes. In order to really review the outfit and tell if it will be something that will still fit in July, I put it on him this morning. He only wore it for a little while because I was afraid he would want to go outside and then ruin it. Here's what he looked like in it:
As you can see from the pictures, it fits PERFECTLY. He looks so good in it too! I do think that unless Drake hits a huge growth spurt, he will indeed be able to wear it in July. There is a little room to grow and the length of pants has room for his shoes without looking short. He didn't fight me when I was putting it on him and he actually had no problem with wearing it. I bring that up because he wasn't happy when I out him in a similar outfit for Easter. He got used to the clothes, but his initial reaction at Easter was to fuss. He never fussed with this outfit at all. The material isn't scratchy or stuff. The blue button up shirt is a nice thickness. It isn't so think that you would feel like it is only good for cold weather, but it feels light enough to wear even in summer. The pants are very much the same. They aren't super thick or lined. It appears to be a great outfit for any time of year. Just remove the vest for hotter occasions. I think it is going to work perfectly for the wedding and I am VERY happy with the product so far. I will probably write up a mini review with the wedding pictures just to give all my wonderful readers an idea of how Drake handled it during the wedding.
