Printcopia Review and Giveaway

Printcopia

Have you seen the deals where you can get a free canvas print except that you have to pay shipping? I have seen this from a couple of companies, but never actually tried them. I hope that maybe someone else that has will let me know if those deals are actually worth it. I have tried the company Printcopia. Printcopia is a great place to get your photos on canvas. I decided that I would get a photo I took this past summer printed on canvas for my brother and sister-in-law as a Christmas present.

Isn't that a fantastic picture? My parents got a pool this summer and my niece had never really had the opportunity to do much swimming in the past. She is six years old. She absolutely LOVED the pool. I truly had never seen her so happy and could not pass up the chance to take as many pictures as I could. This is my favorite because you can see the pure joy on her face. I turned this one into my Christmas present for my brother.

You can see that I only got the top of the picture on the 11x14 canvas. I had wanted to rotate the photo to get more of her on it, but this was the one thing that I was not able to figure out on their site. I did not see the option to rotate the photo. That said, you can always rotate the photo yourself before you upload it to the site. I just decided that what I had was wonderful enough.

The website is very easy to use and very self explanatory. You can start your projects over very easily since it was a four step process. You first choose your size. Second choose your photo, which can be uploaded, from Instagram, or from Facebook. Third you choose your style. Styles are the type of canvas wrap around the frame. You have the option for mirror image, image wrap, and border color. I personally chose a black border color. Also, you get to choose between the standard wall hanger and the canvas stand. The final step is to choose some options. You can change the coloring to be black and white or sepia. In this step you also get to make some minor and major corrections in the photo. Your minor corrections are: Red Eye Removal, Acne/Blemishes/Shiny Skin, Lighten/Darken Image, Date Stamp Removal, Dust/Scratch Removal, and Enhance Color. For major corrections, you simply tell them what you want fixed in a text box.

I have to say that I am very happy with my photo on canvas. I hope that my brother and his wife like it as much as I do.
