Books

After looking at a lot of other blogs, I came to the realization that I don't have a review policy posted. Probably needed huh? Let's start by saying what types of books I enjoy reading. I like the following genres: Paranormal, Urban Fantasy, Romance, Erotica, Fantasy, and occasionally Sci Fi. I prefer reading Adult, but I do read a lot of YA. I also like to review actual hard copies of children's books. In other words, I like most everything except non-fiction and strong religious stories.

Every review posted is completely my own opinion. I try to come up with meaningful things to say about every book I read, as well as to find something good about every story. Very seldom will I give a book less than three roses (three stars on Amazon). If I cannot finish a book, I typically will let the author or tour company know in advance instead of posting a negative review. I realize that may not be what everyone wants to see, but I like to try to keep my blog as positive as possible.

I am not paid for my reviews. I accept copies of books for my honest opinion. I am willing to read traditionally published and self-published works. I am also open to participating in Blog tours as long as you don't insist that the post be the top post for the entire day. I attempt to post everything is alphabetical order and have no intention of changing that because a tour company made a promise that they cannot force to be upheld. This is my blog, and I will post things in the order that I want them.

I post my reviews on this blog, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Smashwords (when applicable), Goodreads, and Shelfari. If you have some other place you want me to post it, just ask. Every review on my blog includes the cover, author links, book description, review, purchase links, and anything else requested.

If you are interested in contacting me about doing a review, you can email me at phaedracamille(at)gmail(dot)com. My name is Phaedra. I am the only reviewer, so I reserve the right to decline books. If I don't think I will like it, I will offer posting a promo and excerpt instead. Also, I am a very busy person. I have one kid and another due in January. I also have a part time job along with my book tour obligations, writing my own books, and trying to keep my house clean to sell it. I may simply decline a review based on time constraints. If you want to do an interview, know that my interviews are solely based on books. I do not have standard interview questions. I will only do interviews if I have read your book. Thank you for considering my blog!
